The fishing village, Busua beach resort is located in the Western Region of Ghana. The town has almost 5,500 inhabitants. Busua fishing village is known for Tuna fishery.
In the 1970s and 1980s, European tourists use to visit Busua, although there was until the late 1990s, neither electricity nor running water. Electricity in the town was occasionally available in the weekends by a generator. In recent years the town has not only obtained full electricity connection, Hotels, Luxury Real Estate and restaurants.
