Apparently, One of the most visited water falls in Ghana, West Africa is Boti falls . This water falls is located in a small town called Boti in the eastern region (Yilo Krobo district). The water falls is approximately 40 minutes drive from Koforidua and about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from Accra( Capital of Ghana). It is a seasonal twin water falls described as a male and female by the indigenes . A rainbow is formed at the plunge pool where the male and female meets as result of sun rays striking through the water at the base.
Additionally, the Boti Falls is 30 meters high from the ground level. The waterfalls find its source from Ponmpon River which runs through the Huhunya forest reserve. The waterfall runs through the mountainous rock into a pool of water at the ground. Many locals swim in the pool of water on the ground.
