Artiste manager, Nana Asiamah popularly known as Bulldog has stated that Black Sherif’s debut album, “The Villain I Never Was,” will do better than the much-anticipated Sarkodie and Shatta Wale albums, yet to be released. The ex- manager of Shatta wale said this because Black Sherif just dropped his debut album on October 6, Shatta Wale will release his “Gift of God” album on October 17, while Sarkodie is expected to release his “Jamz” album on November 11.
Bulldog stated that Sarkodie and Shatta Wale’s albums are likely not to do so well as compared to Blacko’s album, He said this during an interview on Day Break on Hitz FM this morning, 13 October 2022.
Bulldog stated his reason for concluding his facts “I woke up this morning and I was amazed; this month of October is a serious month because we have three of our artists releasing. Black Sherif just released, Sarkodie will release next month, then Shatta will release. Now listen, from the top of my head I said Black Sherif will do better than all of them,” Bulldog stated on the show.
He continued by saying “If you look at the numbers, Black Sherif has a label. Shatta is about to compete with Empire records (Black Sherif’s record label), Sarkodie is about to compete, they don’t have the strength to do that. Empire is a subsidiary of all the Warners and all that, they don’t have the power, in terms of reach Blacko will do better, unless some a miracle. But you see music has changed in the system…you can’t do this alone. It’s not about the talent, it’s about the reach.” he concluded with this words.
